A GREAT ADVENTURE

Becoming a Sponsor is an enriching and exciting adventure. Testimonies

Restoration of the "America" bust

Boss Protection – Restoration of the "America" bust
A three-person company specialising in the protection of goods and individuals financed this restoration in the amount of € 3,000.

« For our benefits I chose a visit to the restoration site and a guided walk with part of the clientele, followed by lunch. I think this kind of operation can change many things and if I can afford it financially I will do it again tomorrow ! »
Marina Di Marco – Manager

Restoration of the sculpture group "Papirius and his mother"

The Gardens of the Sun King – Restoration of the sculpture group "Papirius and his mother"
A five-person company specializing in the production of orange planters offered €12,000 for this restoration.

« We did not think we could afford it, until I read the article on the campaign for "adoption of statues in Les Nouvelles de Versailles [Versailles News]. It was financially possible for us: I contacted the château and the deed was done in 48h ! We want to be associated with the image of excellence of Versailles. We are now featured at the site of the château […] we have been interviewed by Le Parisien and Métro. The articles were very positive. I think sponsorship represents a new way of communicating for SMEs. »
Jean-François Jiquel – Director

Restoration of Louis XVI’s wardrobe room

Lady Michelham of Hellingly – Restoration of Louis XV’s wardrobe room
A native of Béthune and a history teacher for more than ten years, she now heads and supervises a private foundation for charitable works. A faithful sponsor of Versailles, she already made possible the restoration of the billiard room of Queen Marie-Antoinette in 1993.

« I am convinced that the contemplation of beautiful works can make children dream and enrich their minds, their knowledge of common history and the heritage we are proud of, whilst cultivating their trust and curiosity to know more and study for themselves. »
Lady Michelham of Hellingly

Restitution of the Royal Grid

Monnoyeur Group – Restitution of the Royal Grid
Family firm for distribution and services to the building and public works.

« This is an opportunity for a (still young!) company to brush shoulders with history, as an instrument of understanding of the present and a spur to study of the past. [We are] all proud of our Group which, thanks to its prosperity, has been able to exceed its economic mission and make an historic contribution for the general good. »
Baudouin Monnoyeur – President and Managing Director
